Examples include the determination of reputation based on skill that hinders bioethics.
Philosophical arguments about the use of technology still disagree on whether it has improved or worsened the human condition. Neo-Luddism, anarcho-primitivism, and similar reactionary movements criticize the spread of technology, arguing that it harms people. On the other hand, proponents of techno-progressivism view technology as beneficial to society.
Technology refers to the practical knowledge of a species using various tools and natural materials. Technology also determines how species adapt to and use their natural environment.
