Fasting is expiation for two years of sins:
Fasting on the day of Arafa forgives the sins of one year before and one year after. In the Sahih Hadith, “Abu Qatadah RA. Narrated by, Rasulullah SAW was asked about fasting on the day of Arafa, he said, Fasting on the day of Arafa, I hope is accepted as expiation for the sins of the past year and the coming year. (Muslim-2803; Tirmidhi-749; Abu Dawud-2427). It should be noted that this fast is not for the pilgrims, but for those who have not come to perform Hajj. On this day, Allah Almighty forgives a large number of His servants and frees them from Hell. Hadith comes, “Aisha RA. Narrated from, Rasulullah SAW. Said, On the day of Arafah, Allah Rabbul Alamin frees His servants from Hell in such a large number, which He does not give on any other day. He approached the servants on this day and boasted about them to the angels and said, “Can you tell me what these servants of mine want from me?” (Muslim-3354; Ibn Khuzaima-2827)
The best time to pray and dhikr in abundance:
Praying in the Maidan at Arafa is the most important and one of the acts of worship in Hajj. In this context, the Holy Prophet. Said, “Talha ibn Ubaidullah ibn Qarij narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. He said the best prayer is the Arafah Day prayer. And the greatest words that I speak and the Prophets before me said. That is, there is no true god but Allah, to Him belongs the kingdom, to Him is due all praise, and to Him is power over all things.” (Tirmidhi-3585; Shuabul Iman-4072)
The Day of Uquf Arafar is the day of attaining the perfection of God’s religion and blessings:
The day of Arafah is the day of responsibility for Muslims, the fulfillment of Allah’s Deen and blessings for the Muslim Ummah, and Allah’s consent to the Deen has been declared. In the Sahih Sanad, “Anas Ibn Malik RA. Narrated from, he said Rasulullah SAW. Before sunset in Arafar Maidan Belal Ra. He ordered people to be quiet. Belal said, “Keep silent for the sake of the Messenger of Allah.” The crowd fell silent. Rasulullah SAW.
He said, ‘O people! Gabriel came to me a little earlier. He sent salutations to me on behalf of my Lord for Ahl al-Arafah and Ahl Muzdalifah and took responsibility for their wrongdoing. Umar stood up and said, O Messenger of Allah! Is it just for us? He said: This is for you and for those who will come after you until the Day of Resurrection. Omar Ra, He said Allah’s mercy is abundant and good. (Sahihut Targhib wat Tarhib-1151)
Day of Promise from the Children of Adam:
This is the day when Allah Ta’ala took the promise from Bani Adam. In the hadith, “Abdullah Ibn Abbas RA. Narrated from, he said, Rasulullah SAW. He said that surely Allah took the promise from Adam’s face in the field of Arafat. He took out all the offspring he had placed in Adam’s spine and scattered them like molecules before him. Then talk to them directly. He said I am not your Lord? They all say, yes of course; We testify.
This is so that you do not say the Day of Resurrection, we were heedless about it. Nor should you say, our forefathers committed shirk before us, and we are their descendants; But will You destroy us for the deeds of those who nullify their deeds (through shirk) – Surah A’raf: 172-173 (Musnadu Ahmad-2455; Albani calls the hadith Sahih.
